Forex
How does Forex Trading work?
The Forex market allows you to invest in a class of assets, such as currency pairs, without actually holding the underlying asset, this is possible by using a contract for difference (CFD). Trading Forex CFDs gives investors the chance to profit from price changes, whether they are up or down. A Forex CFD functions as a two-party contract (the buyer and the seller). During the deal, the seller must pay the buyer the difference between an asset's current worth and its value at the "contract time." If the difference is negative, the buyer pays the seller instead.
Is Forex Trading expensive?
It depends on how you are planning to trade, whether you use leverage and how much capital you decide to risk. You could start by investing $10, or $10,000 – the amount of investment is unlimited. However, you should remember that increasing the amount of leverage also increases the level of risk.
How are the Forex market prices determined?
Many factors can potentially impact currency prices. The factors include but are not limited to economic and political events and announcements, inflation, and natural disasters. There’s no sure way to predict price movements, but some handy hints can be gleaned through technical analysis.
What are the trading hours in the Forex market?
The Forex market is open 5 days a week, 24 hours a day. and currencies are traded worldwide between the major financial centres. It opens on Sunday at 10:00 pm GMT and closes on Friday at 10:00 pm GMT. Please find the market hours below:
Sydney: 10:00 pm - 7:00 am GMT

London: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm GMT
New York: 1:00 pm -10:00 pm GMT
Commodities
Why trade commodities?
CFD markets can be volatile with charts full of turns. Conversely, commodity prices tend to keep trends for longer periods. Some forex traders find commodities an effective means to diversify their portfolios. In addition, you don’t purchase commodities physically, you simply speculate on their prices. As a result, you are safe from unexpected logistics complications.
What are commodities?
Commodities are trading assets divided into three groups: agricultural, metal, and energy. While you are trading CFDs on commodities you are not physically buying these assets, but you can profit from them. Gold, silver, and oil are determined as "hard commodities," meanwhile agricultural products like coffee, wheat, and sugar are determined to be "soft commodities."
How are commodity prices determined?
The prices are subject to supply, demand, weather, seasonality, international economic and political events. Like any other asset, the main factor is the supply and demand relation. As the assets are paired against it, the price of the U.S. Dollar also plays a huge role in the commodities market.
Indices
What is indices trading?
Indices are collections of equities from major corporations' securities that have been conveniently grouped. Investors trade CFDs on these baskets, not the underlying shares. When trading indices, you might adopt a long or a short position in the market. The larger companies in the bundle typically have the most stock price impacts.
How does index trading work?
Index trading is buying and selling of a specific share market index. Investors can speculate on the price of an index rising or falling which determines whether they will be buy or sell. Since an index represents the performance of a group of shares, you will not buying any actual underlying share, but buying the average performance of the group of shares. When the price of shares for the companies within an index go up, the value of the index increases. If the price instead falls, the value of the index will go down.
What are the index trading hours?
The index market is not open 24 hours a day like the forex trading market, and you need to consider the right time to open a position. You should also consider that different indices are traded at different times, depending on the individual exchange. If you are new to index trading, you may want to avoid trading during hours of high volatility.
Stocks
What is stock trading?
Stocks (also called Shares) are a percentage of a company’s' ownership. When a company is successful, their stocks gain value. But "trading stocks" is different, it means trading CFDs for the underlying asset. Therefore, you can take a long or a short position in the market. That means you can profit even if the company shares are losing value, if you took a "sell" position in the market.
How are stock market prices determined?
Stock prices are largely determined by demand and supply. Demand is the number of stocks people want to purchase while supply is the number of stocks that people want to sell. The price discovery happens where demand and supply meet at a particular price level, meaning both the buyer and seller agree to trade at a particular price point. A continuous rise in prices is known as an uptrend, and a continuous drop in prices is called a downtrend. Sustained uptrends form a “bull” market and sustained downtrends are called “bear” markets.

Cryptocurrencies
How Is The Cryptocurrencies Price Determined?
Like other markets, supply and demand influences the price of cryptocurrencies. So, the prices react to how valuable people think the currency is. Investors perceive crypto as a lucrative instrument and so, it becomes more popular. Economic events and regulatory updates also play key roles on the crypto price.
Why trade cryptocurrency CFDs instead of buying them?
Cryptocurrencies show volatile price movements, posing more risks for investors. While trading CFDs of cryptocurrencies, you can either go long or short with your position. That means that you can profit even if the price of a crypto falls. Likewise, if your position is short, you can incur losses if the coin appreciates in value.
What Are Cryptocurrencies?
Cryptocurrencies are digital payment technologies that have gained popularity in the past years. The trend started with Bitcoin, however, alternative cryptocurrencies are available today. They are recorded in digital registers called blockchains. When one user sends cryptocurrency to another, they send it to a digital wallet. The currency can be used as is, or cashed out at the market price. All transactions are verified via a process called mining.
